In winter, the beautiful Calabogie Highlands Golf Club becomes a wonderful location for family tobogganing. The combination of rolling hills and scenic vistas make this location one of the better spots in the Ottawa Valley for tobogganing. Although there are several locations on the golf course for tobogganing, by far the best is the valley area making up the 15^th, 16^th and 17^th holes. Here you will find a wide range of slopes to suit everyone’s taste. And while you are there, you’ll enjoy the scenic winter panorama as you look out over Calababogie Lake towards Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort.

 

How to get there

 

From the intersection of Hwy 508 and 511 in Calabogie, travel 4.5 km south on 511 past the tourist information centre to Barryvale Road. Turn right on Barryvale Road and follow it 5 km. to the parking lot at the Calabogie Highlands Golf Club.
